About me

My name is Peter D’Adamo, and I am a retired distinguished professor of clinical medicine. I was in practice for over three decades as a naturopathic physician, authored two textbooks, and built the first Center of Excellence in Generative Medicine, where I’ve participated in the education and training of over 150 physicians.

I am perhaps best known for my NYT Bestseller Eat Right For Your Type.

Over the years I had a deep interest in bioinformatics, and this culminated in Opus 23, my genomic and microbiome analysis platform for physicians and researchers.

Over the years I’ve developed a fondness for overhauling air-cooled Volkswagens and mechanical Swiss watches.

I am the proud father of two wonderful children and the loving husband of my wife Martha, my partner for almost four decades.
